A Tribute Too Byron Nelson
Byron Nelson won 11 tournaments in a row way back in 1945. Yes 11 tournaments in a row. Could you imagine winning your first tournament? How about winning another one and then another one? Wow what a felling it must have been when he finally realized what was happening to him.
He might of thought about the good times him and Ben Hogan had when they both started out as caddies. How they watched the golfers they caddied for, and then they would go and practice each shot over and over again.
This is one of the Best Kids Golf Tips (learn by being a caddy).
Winning 11 tournaments in a row is a very hard thing to do. Most of the best golfers say that the record may never be broken. Arnold Palmer has said that he does not think it will happen. Tiger Woods said he doubts that any golfer would beat the mark of 11 tournaments in a row.
