Hook

Golfers who hook the ball have the opposite effect on the ball. When the ball curves to the left for a right-handed player and when the ball curves to right for a left-handed player. They have too much hand action, and not enough body action.

Here are some tips:

  • Adjust your grip make sure it is not to strong.

  • Aim your clubface to be closed.

  • Have a regular stance.

  • Turn your whole body until you’re looking directly at your target.

  • Twist your upper body to the right. Don’t move your feet.

  • Set your clubhead behind the ball.

  • Hit a couple of balls around.

    And last but not least is to Practice, Practice, Practice!
